The summer could be busy at Leicester regarding new players coming in, but hopefully not panicking and doing moves for players they do not need.
Youri Tielemans looks as a possible departure and there are also other players that could be on the move as the squad needs a bit of fresh faces to go forward.
Brendan Rodgers might have shot himself in the foot as he looked for a reaction at Anfield and placed Youri Tielemans on the subs bench.
Youri Tielemans has dragged out the process of a new contract signing and not really shown the club the moral needed to lift the spirit at a club that struggles.
Still early days, but transfer rumors turn up fast after Brendan Rodgers took charge of Leicester City. One of the players that will be on his radar is current loan signing Youri Tielemans.
Loaned in by former manager Claude Puel, but looks as he will also play a major part under Brendan Rodgers, being picked by both from start at all occasions. He made his debut away to Tottenham, and has since played three more games.
A win at home to Brighton is so far the only three pointer he’s taken part in but as we have seen his assisting passes, two in total, has been a thrill to watch. The way he played Jamie Vardy through against Watford, was World class.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino was also, according to the UK tabloids, after Tielemans in January and will probably again start his hunt, and to see Spurs also chasing will probably be a problem for Leicester City.
To bring in Tielemans looks a priority at King Power and hopefully Director of football Jon Rudkin will be able to convince the Belgian to sign on the dotted line and hopefully secure the signing of a brilliant player.
With Wilfred Ndidi, Hamza Choudhury and Nampalys Mendy to pick as partners in the midfield, in a two or three men midfield, they will all fit perfect alongside this great player who knows how to play the ball in a penetration line and not just pass that obvious pass either wide or into the feet of a player.
A lot of other names are already linked with Leicester City in the summer, and we have started to build our list of hot, cool and cold targets, for the list, enter here
