Victor Johansson is one of a number of former Leicester players who also is seen in a Rotherham shirt. Johansson joined The Millers from Leicester. Since moving to “New York” in 2020 he has played 112 league games for Rotherham and also made his full international debut for Sweden.

Joe Mattock started his career with Leicester, also getting England U.21 caps during this time. Adding up 66 league games before a £1million move to West Bromwich happened in 2009, as the youngster looked very promising and still in his teens when the move took place. His time with The Baggies was not a massive hit and a move to Sheffield Wednesday came around in 2012. He moved to Rotherham in 2015, playing for The Millers until 2022, adding up 207 league games, scoring 4 goals during this time. He is still in the game, playing for Harrogate Town, and present on loan at Hartlepool United.

Players with a life at Leicester and Millwall are a few, with a number of greats being in both camps.

One of those players is Chris Wood. He joined Leicester in 2013, adding up a total of 53 league games, scoring 14 goals. The year before joining Leicester, he had a loan spell with Millwall, playing 19 league games and scoring 11 goals.

Kasey Keller comes to mind as a fanatastic goalkeeper signing for Leicester from Millwall in 1997. Martin O’Neill splased out £900.000 to secure the USA international. Keller added up 99 league games for Leicester before moving to Spain and Rayo Vallecano.

Leicester will play Swansea City in their next match in Championship action. Going back you will find a number of players with a past in both camps. Swansea City had a number of years in the top flight before going down in 2018, being in the top flight since 2011. Ryan Bennet is a recent signing, being on loan at Leicester from Wolves and later moving to The Liberty.

Brendan Rodgers and Micky Adams has been manager at both clubs, former Leicester captain Colin Appleton had a time in charge of Swansea. Frank Burrows also have the same experience, being a caretaker at Leicester later in his years, being in charge at Swansea from 1991 to 1995.
