The SPL is yet to shut their transfer window and a number of Leicester City players could be shipped north, either on loan or on a permanent deal.

Celtic is reported to be after Filip Benkovic, who just recently joined Leicester City from Dinamo Zagreb. Benkovic made his first team debut yesterday in the 4-0 Carabao Cup win v. Fleetwood.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is out looking for new players and made more than 10 signings to his squad at Ibrox, trying to be an instant challenge to Celtic, who has not been in their best for so far, losing their season opener against Hearts.

Fousseni Diabate will not be first choice and in close range of a starting position at Leicester and in the absent of good flank midfield alternatives, Gerrard should look to Leicester to find a player that would be perfect for his fit at Rangers.

Youngster Josh Knight and also Callum Elder are two defender currently a bit in limbo at Leicester City. Both players could be an option for Motherwell who are struggling in the SPL and are close to bottom of the table.

Other players at Leicester City who are certain loan targets are Andy King and Danny Simpson, who both could end up in the Championship, but also Scotland could be an alternative for the duo. Simpson and King both looks like they are in favor of a move inside Britain.

Simpson was earlier linked with Stoke City, and Andy King could be a possible target for a number of clubs with West Bromwich, Nottingham Forest and Derby County all probably in need of a quality midfielder with the experience of King.

King and Simpson looks certain to leave, none of them involved last night in the Carabao Cup clash with Fleetwood Town. Diabate and Benkovic both came in a substitutes, while Josh Knight was an unused sub.

Still a few days left for the Championship and SPL window shutting, so we just have to see who will try to find their new recruits and signings in East Midlands.
