Leicester 2, Watford 0, positives and negatives, player ratings and match report

Back in Leicester for the first time since the terrible helicopter crash, and hoped for a much better outcome this time.

Again to watch Leicester live is of course fantastic and at home even better. Watford, the visitors, showed their respect to Vichai, a great gesture and again a reminder of what had happened.

Going to the game, we all were talking about how Puel again would surprise us with his team selection, but strangely enough, there were no surprises in his selection, just spot on and all agreed this was the best team.

Earlier Leicester have had many sloppy starts in Premier League games, but this time it was fire from the first minute.

Two good goals came early in the game, and to see the board telling us all that it was Leicester 2 Watford 0 was a bit unreal. 25 minutes had gone, the game was almost killed.

A correct penalty decision was made when Jamie Vardy went down, and he himself scored easy and safely with a direct on the ground shot.

Just a few minutes later, James Maddison scored a wonderful goal, assisted by Vardy and Albrighton, who crossed the pass perfectly to reach the forwards on a great counter attack.

Everything looked rock solid this evening, captained in the best possible way by Wes Morgan. In the 2nd half Demarai Gray came close with a blistering shot, hitting the bar.

Watford had the ball a lot during the game but with two midfielders such as Ndidi and Mendy, you are looked after. All in all a great day, scoring two and keeping a clean sheet.

To sum it all up, here you have our short notes.

Positives: Winning at home, Vardy leading the line, Maddison showing his quality, solid at the back, could have been more goals to Leicester, correct team selection,

Negatives: Vardy going off, Allbrighton and Maddison, yellow
