Leicester City recalled Harvey Barnes from West Bromwich Albion, and he will hopefully get fully involved in the Leicester City team and hopefully add quality to a squad that might need his qualities.
Filip Benkovic will be staying at Celtic, by the looks of it Elliott Moore, Bartosz Kapustka and Kamal Sowah all are at Leuven and are certain to stay on for the remaining part of the Belgian season, all under the command of Nigel Pearson.
The club is in a bit of trouble laying second from bottom in the 2nd tier, so we just have to see if NP will be able to get a better grip of everything when the final part of the season apppear.
Shinji Okazaki is a major target for Huddersfield Town, with David Wagner a great admirer knowing the strengths of the Japan international. Leicester City haven’t really managed to get the best out of Shinji in the seasons after the champions season, looking for another way to play football which might not have suited Okazaki the way he was such a key to that wonderful 5000/1 season.
Fousseni Diabate has joined Sivasspor for a loan period out the season. A great opportunity for the Mali international, and hopefully getting some first team game time.
Adrien Silva is closer to a move to Fenerbahce, but not yet any concrete news about a move, with PSG also mentioned as a possible destination. Silva (29) is a great footballer and he has qualities which probably has not been 100% valued at Leicester City and his presence has been a bit diffuse.
A few soft links on players coming in as rumors fly in the air. We believe that the re-signing of Harvey Barnes might be the only move Puel will do as he is looking to shrink his squad to a number close to a double 11, and of course have space for everyone in training.
Eldin Jakupovic has been rumored to move to Nottingham Forest, but with Karanka’s departure today that might be on hold. Another rumor out there is that Esteban Cambiasso was supposed to join the coaching staff at Leicester City.
