The most reliable predictions for Leicester City’s transfer deadline day

There are just a few hours left of the summer transfer window 2019, and with that in mind, Sky Sports and Leicestershire Live have more or less concluded.

Dennis Praet looks a done deal, and that is a cunning signing of a player that can become a great success at Leicester City.

A defender is said to be a priority, and a number of names have been talked about, with recent rumor of a loan deal for Juventus newly signed Merih Demiral as the most likely.

Leicester City fans should be calm regarding the rumor about a possible new interest from Spurs and Man Utd in James Maddison, a move looks impossible to happen with little time left and not any concrete talk to relate that rumor to.

The supposed buy of a flank looks a bit in the air as well. No further talk seen about Sarr, Townsend and Pericic, who all were linked earlier in the window.

Daniel Amartey could be leaving for either Fulham or Sheffield United today, with Rachid Ghezzal also on his way out.

The window is still open a bit longer around in Europe and in League 1 and League 2, so  departures from Leicester City can also happen after today.

Rachid Ghezzal was earlier seen as part of the Dennis Praet deal, and could still be on. There are of course a number of fringe players that could head for the exit door. Brendan Rodgers is eager to slim his squad down to a reasonable number.
