Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is hailed as a great loan signing for Luton Town as he has made six league appearances for The Hatters, currently 11th in the Championship. So far no goals but good reports to read for Brendan Rodgers on the local Leicester lad.Embed from Getty Images
Matty James has been out of action for a long period of time and made just a couple of sporadic displays in the first team in the last four or five seasons, but has now been in form for Barnsley over a period of time. Barnsley is currently 16 in the table and of course just staying up will be what is expected at Oakwell. James played in that 2-0 away win agianst Derby County, and has been on the field in 7 games so far. Martyn Waghorn and Tom Lawrence both featuring in the same game but has been in a bit of struggle at Derby County lately as the club have started terribly in the Championship this season.Embed from Getty Images
George Hirst is another players currently on loan in The Championship, representing Rotherham, both teams will be happy to survive with Rotherham having the best odds of that, also featuring in that team is former U.23 goalkeeper Viktor Johansson but he has been an understudy so far and just played one game in the competition so far. Joe Mattock is a certain starter at Rotherham with 8 games so far. Hirst has also been a regular but struggled a bit up front with no goals so far.
Josh Knight on loan at Wycombe is also a regular in the team and has featured in 9 games so far. Goalkeepers Cameroon Yates and David Stockdale are two other former Leicester City players in the Wycombe Wanderers squad.
Big money movers Harry Maguire, Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante are all in action for Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea. Danny Drinkwater, another big money sale is also playing, but in the Chelsea U.23’s at the moment and has so far been involved in two matches, both defeats v. Leo Ulloa moved to Spain and Rayo Vallecano last season and is of course involved playing for the Secunda club and so far this season made 6 appearances but not yet scored. Shinji Okazaki is playing for Huesca and also been involved in 6 games so far, but a level above in La Liga.
Richie De Laet is back in Belgium with Antwerpen and is a regular. Antwerpen are 6th in the A league and doing well at the moment. Gokan Inler found a new club this summer joining Adana Demirspor, currently 2nd in then 2nd tier of Turkish football. He has so far made 6 appearances and still going at the age of 36.
Sam Hughes and Mitch Clark are other Leicester City players currently on loan at Burton Albion and Port Vale. Both players are involved in first team action, Port Vale currently 11th in League Two and Burton Albion sailing in danger close to the bottom of League One. Darnell Johnson is another out on a loan spell, but has not been much fun at Wigan laying bottom of the League One table.
Leicester City’s sister club Leuven also have a number of players on loan, Eppiah, Iversen and Sowah. Leuven is 8th at the moment in the top league of Belgium, with Sowah doing well and the others a bit on the fringe.Embed from Getty Images
Adrien Silva joined Claudio Ranieri at Sampdoria and they are currently 10th in Serie A, with Silva making 4 appearances so far. Rachid Ghezzal is currently on loan at Besiktas and so far played 4 games in a team that are currently 7th in the table.
Liam Moore has grown to become a key player and captain at Reading, and they are currently 6th in the Championship. Another former fox Michael Morrison are also impressive and they could both be on their way to Premier League action next season. Moore has 11 games, and will be missed sidelined with a foot injury. Morrison has 13 appearances and so far scored once.
Jeffrey Schlupp is very much involved at Crystal Palace and has 7 appearances so far operating in defence and as a flank if needed. Huddersfield Town are currently 16th in the Championship and a certain Richard Stearman is part of the first team and playing regulary.
So far no news on Danny Simpson or Andy King who are both without a club. Strange to see two such great footballers not attached. The two former Premier League winners are available and should easily find a new place to play, we certainly believe that they will soon be back in action.
