There could still be business to do and we wait for a departure or two before the transfer window close. Hopefully it will be possible to keep James Maddison. A push for something we can just dream about, looks in the open. Brendan Rodgers know the trade of collecting trophies both north and south of the border.
Jannik Vestergaard is the latest arrival from Southampton. An experienced defender at a perfect age. The cool and predictable Danish international will be a great addition and will fill a gap after Wesley Fofana who will be out for a long time.
Vestergaard has earlier been seen in the gossip columns and earlier linked to Leicester. The club knows Vestergaard in and out. They did track him last summer as well, but no move happened. instead the central defender stayed at Southampton for another season and helped the club to secure their Premier League status.

We do hope that Kelechi Iheanacho will stay on and not be lured away. A lucrative offer from Roma might come to the table, but hopefully this approach will be turned down.
Of course having three different alternatives in that top spot is good. And hopefully all are happy to appear in the way Brendan Rodgers believe is best.
Ryan Bertrand has impressed TCF heavily over the pre-season period, he has been outstanding. A complete left back, and at his age do have the calmness and experience we love to see.

If injury strikes on other playters he is very adaptable and can appear in different midfield roles. The former PSG academy player, has shown over his years with Lille that coming from one of the best youth development programmes in the World can be of importance, even if you struggle to get into the first team at this major club.
James Maddison is in the latest reports said to be staying on at this football club. There might be sales of fringe players. The future for Filip Benkovic, Hamza Choudhury and Dennis Praet looks uncertain, and moves out could be happening. Newcastle said to be eager on Choudhury, Sampdoria could be in for Praet. Benkovic might yet again seek a loan move to a Championship club.
Brendan Rodgers has not closed the door for more signings. The name Ozak Kabak is still talked about as one more central defender might be needed to cover of those known injuries. There are still also possible to see a flank midfielder coming in.
