Leicester did great vs. Watford, but it’s a bit of a riddle to see how Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka both are used compared to those playing up front at Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
In the game vs. West Ham, Man City often did a rotation among the top three, with Sterling, Jesus and Mahrez switching positions and from a line-up perspective playing Mahrez in the centre position, strange but true.
Liverpool also have a grand movement among their top three with Salah, Mane and Firmino rotating a lot and doing quick changes as they make their moves to score goals. Diego Jota has also been slotted in among the three and really put pressure on the establishment.
We often also see changes and quick turns at Chelsea were Hudson-Odoi, Werner, Haverts, Mount and Lukaku are used in and out of their positions. So why are not Leicester ready to match those acts and really get the best out of Vardy, Daka and Iheanacho, would be lovely to see them all in there at once, switching positions and using their fantastic pace to tear apart other defences.
Leicester do have a number of options but looking at natural goalscorers and ability to score goals you will of course get more with Vardy, Iheanacho and Daka all out there at the same time, would be a lovely movie to watch.
Perez is the only player that we do see used out of his best position playing wide at times, Barnes, Albrighton and Lookman are other options but in my mind only Barnes are as good as the top three goalscorers and could alternate.
Not that we would like to see too many changes but Brendan Rodgers need to be bit more bold in his decision making regarding three top goalscorers who all could be used up front for this football club.
Players are easily adaptable and we certainly would like to see Brendan Rodgers going with three forwards and keeping a steady 4-3-3 or if you like 4-2-3-1, and not exclude to great players from the team if you decide to play with this type of system.
Certainly it would be good to learn from the giants as they tend to be more flexible with their front runners than Brendan Rodgers has been with his super goal powers.
