Ben Nelson made no secret about his happiness after scoring the City goal in a very strong 1-1 away draw to Chelsea in the U.21’s PL2 league game. Ben Nelson described the City team on the afternoon as being strong and giving The Blues a real hard fight.

LC U.21 are still not in anyway secure as they are 19th in a league of 26 teams. The team do have a lot of young players in there, with 18 year old Amani Richards showing form with 2 goals in 7 games. Summer signing Silko Thomas from Chelsea has also been on the scoresheet with 2 goals in 4 games.
Coach, Ben Petty also made his reflections to the result as he was pleased to see players return from injury and performing well. Popov, Hughes and Ewing were all back playing, getting 45 minutes, and will most certainly get more minutes as they get back in full action. Braybrooke and Alves are two other U.21 players we are waiting on, that surely will give this team better quality and hopefully more wins to count.

The U.18 team is also in good mood at the moment, with coach Adam Barradell happy to see his recruits doing well in their last outing vs. Southampton, coming back 2nd half to win in this PL South group.
Leicester were in controll for large parts of the game and accoring to Barradell have scored more. Kirsten Otchere and Jake Evans were the two Leicester goalscorers.
