Leicester City Supporters Club Scandinavian Branch (LCSCSB) have been around sine 1994. We are in the area of 300 fans following this football club. Soren Filipsson is one special, having “Leicester” as his middle name.
Soren do run his own branch, Blue Army Sweden. His passion for Leicester is unique. He connects easy with anyone eager to. He creates strong connections with former players and the current staff at the club. He also connects with current players and has friends within the fanbase from all over the planet.
Having the time to visit “Leicester” in Hallsberg was again very pleasant. Talking Leicester City and other different topics having the historical perspective too, is always nice. “Leicester” knows everything about Leicester as his devotion looks to grow year by year. He is allready planning his next visit. As soon as the EFL Championship fixture list is out, games will be selected. Afterward, a new trip will be booked.
Soren often points out that his name in fact is “Leicester”, just to be sure we all know. That is, of course, special. It really highlights that his following and support will never stop. This is true whether the results are negative or positive.

When “the chips are down” he shows his proper face and give support, no matter what. His objects are based on that grounding, understanding the life of a football supporter following Leicester City.
Since “Leicester” began to follow Leicester City, he has seen the lot. From the early 70’s until today, life has fluctuated between the top and second tier. There was also that one season in League One, 08-09. Over the years, the club has struggled to establish a solid financial base. Various projects have, in a way, hindered the club’s progress.
“Leicester” knows it all. He calmly understand the current situation. He believe the club will be back at the highest level. He cherish his Leicester friends in England, Sweden, Norway or wherever he meet them.
If every follower and fan of Leicester City had been like “Leicester,” our fanbase would have been the very best. It would have been the most proper. This is the fanbase Leicester should aspire to be.
Soren runs his own special branch with genuine following. You should take a tour and visit their webshop, they do have some very unique and nice items on sale. “Leicester” have a “Swedish Approach”, calmly reporting on games, transfer talk and more. All done in his native language.
