We did believe Leicester had a chance of getting something out of an appeal but today we got the answer, the punishment stands and the club accept that. The official statement saying no further action will be taken.
This is of course something we have as fans accepted, but still the fight for survival continues. We can go on about what is right or wrong, but no need for that. Leicester have not taken their opportunities this season. Not under Marti Cifuentes, not under Andy King and so far under Gary Rowett made some progress, at least not losing games, but still doing errors you would not believe was possible in a game of football.
The next chance for points are home against Swansea. We could see Jordan Ayew getting that chance to play in the number 10 role, just behind Patson Daka. He looked a totally different player when given that opportunity and being much more free and lively.
Had given up on Jordan Ayew, but when whatching him play for Ghana on the flank, he is contributing. For Leicester it’s been a total disaster, unitil that game on Saturday, showing us all what he can do when being played in a position he do have the ability to shine in.
It always seemed unlikely that #LCFC would win their appeal against their 6 point deduction.

Now they must secure their Championship status on the pitch rather than by legal means.
Right now that also seems to be an incredibly tall order.https://t.co/1PsxGVIVIY
Divine Mukasa has not yet showed the grit needed to be part of this type of battle. Jordan Ayew hopefully will be given a start alongside Patson Daka, or just behind him, to just push this Leicester side into a position we would like them to be, with more players coming forward and taking that risk you need to score goals.
The club looks to have no real idea on what to do going forward. No one has said anything online about anything. The only way to see any communication is via the website. The new leadership has not yet given any clues of what they are doing at the moment.
We just have to listen to Gary Rowett and hopefully he will be fielding a team that will be able to win the game vs. Swansea to be part of a push that will take this football club out of the mess they are in at the moment.
We believe a win on Saturday and a win away to Portsmouth will be enough to be safe, but in the end no one knows.
