Patson Daka will consider his future at Leicester in the summer. He recently scored a goal against Chelsea at King Power Stadium, but has not yet managed to convince Brendan Rodgers about his ability to be the main alternative top forward at Leicester.

There are three equals for this position at Leicester with Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy also in contention to play, and Brendan Rodgers struggles to find a formula working to use all three of them on a regular basis.

Former Leicester and Southampton defender dies as his legacy in football is well documented and honoured

Tony Knapp has passed away at the age of 86. He did football proud with a long career as a player and even longer as a coach and manager. His professional life in football started at Leicester, being at the club from 1955 to 1961. He played 86 league games before making his move to Southampton.

His move to Southampton happened in August 1961, and at that time the transfer fee of £27,500 became a record transfer fee received. He was at the time in the England frame and named in the 1962 preliminary World Cup squad of 40, but didn’t make the final cut.

Australia are in 7th as Harry Souttar makes his travel from Leicester and joins up with Socceroos

Harry Souttar travels down under as his Australia will take on Ecuador in two friendles on the 24th and 28th of March. A long travel of course, but Leicester do have an Australian connection from the past, so to see players fly the globe to get to games is not at all unusual.

Chris Wood is a former player with a similar life as his travels went even further, as he represent New Zealand. Harry Souttar decided in 2019 to make the change to Australia from Scotland, being born in Aberdeen and previously represented Scotland at U.17 and U.19 level.
