Hannah Cain has been released. She played 22 league games this season, but had no luck, scoring zero. To see here leave is a bit sad. Potentially would have been a good player at the second level.

Chantelle Swaby and Rosella Ayana are two others on the released list. There are negotiations going on with Denny Draper, being offered a new deal. Olivia Clark and defender Celeste Boureille have agreed on new deals.

18 years ago, Nigel Pearson, got his guidelines. After being appointed manager on the 20th of June 2008, it was time to reflect. He knew the limitation and frame he had to work within.

The squad needed improvement. To strengthen, selling players was an option. Richard Stearman, Gareth McAuley, and Iain Hume were sold for significant fees.

The Age Factor: Could Danny Drinkwater Reinvent His Career?

Watching the full aniversery game yesterday, one previous Leicester player impressed. Danny Drinkwater, made a quality performance. Nine years ago sold from Leicester to Chelsea for a fee of £35million. He is 36 years of age and that is not at all a tall age in todays game.

Danny Drinkwater got tired of football and decided to quit the game in full, four years ago. He spent his last season in play for Reading at EFL Championship level.
