Recent retirement of Neil Warnock made this Leicester event behind closed doors one to remember

Neil Warnock recently announced his retirement from the game after being involved in football management since starting out at Gainsborough Trinity 42 years ago. He had moved to Burton Albion when they drew Leicester in the FA Cup 3rd round back in 1985.

The game was a usual tie between a non-league club and a first division team that could happen in the 3rd round as you get those David vs. Goliat ties.

Loan watch as young Leicester players make impressive debut and top return for Barrow AFC and Burton Albion

Jacob Wakeling is the most recent loan departure and he made his debut this weekend for Barrow AFC. The forward has so far played in the U.23 set up and not been much involved in the first team set up. Sam Hughes got a few inlcusions on the bench, but he never got the chance to taste Premier League, this weekend he was back in action for Burton Albion.

Sam Hughes is still a Leicester player, but not really rated as highly as we would like the academy players to be as we have seen Josh Knight, Elliott Moore and Darnel Johnson all being seen too light.
