Leicester will play Gillingham in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, coming up on the 7th of January. We have looked back on all those players who have been in both camps, and also had a look up on managers, with a certain Peter Taylor to be mentioned. PT is now in his 24th manager position at Maldon and Tiptree.

He joined Leicester in the summer of 2000 to take over from Martin O’Neill, who left for Celtic. Peter Taylor guided The Gills into the 2nd tier of English football and his work was on a scale that Leicester became interested and decided to go for the former Crystal Palace and Tottenham winger.

Leicester will play MK Dons in the next round of the Carabao Cup. We have made a dive into the archives to try to bring forward most players in both camps.

David Martin is of course one to count. The goalkeeper is back at MK Dons for his second spell, this time also hired in as a goalkeeper coach. We all know his presence at Leicester during the 08/09 season being the one with most games among six different goalkeepers that season.

Leicester played Newport in the Carabao Cup coming out as 3-0 winners after great goals from James Justin and Jamie Vardy. Lookng back in history for both clubs we have found a number of players with a life at Leicester and Newport.

One to address is of course Kevin Ellison who spent his last years of professional life at Rodney Parade. Another forward who had experiences from both clubs is Alan Waddle.
