Emile Heskey is a legend at Leicester, and he also had a brief spell at Wigan Athletic. Heskey joined Wigan from Birmingham in 2006. A transfer fee of £5.5million took him to DW Stadium and he stayed until 2009. During his days at Wigan he scored 15 goals in 82 league games. He was sold to Aston Villa for fee of £3.5million. Heskey holds the record of the most capped England player at the club, playing 7 full internationals while at The Latics.
Steve Walsh is another special player at Leicester spending a period from 1986 to 2000 at Filbert Street. His life at Leicester is well documented, joining at the age of 21 for a fee of £100.000. He had added up 126 league games at Wigan before joining, a grand tally for such a young age.
