1-1 draw for Wales away to Croatia, Wales U.21 in 3-0 win vs. Scotland, Danny Ward and Chris Popov involved

To get anything away vs. Croatia will be a bonus, and surely a 1-1 draw for Wales must be seen as a great result on the day. Former fox Andrej Kramaric scored the opening goal for Croatia.

Danny Ward was dropped by Brendan Rodgers vs. Brentford, but Rob Page selected Ward for this game as he had a good day at the office not to blame for the Kramaric goal.

Patson Daka double secure further life in AFCON as Zambia makes two wins out of two vs. Lesotho

A grand 2-0 win for Zambia over Lesotho tonight and both goals scored by Patson Daka. The first of the two games vs. Lesotho also ended in a win, 3-1 without any goals or assists coming from the Leicester forward.

Zambia coach and former Chelsea manager Avram Grant must be pleased with the results as his team goes through to the next fase of the the AFCON qualification.

James Maddison from start as England wins, Luke Thomas in U.21 win, Ben Nelson U.19 win and defeat

James Maddison was in the starting eleven for the first time as England defeated Ukraine 2-0. A grand win and at the same time a fantastic happening for the Leicester midfielder who had to sit and watch the 2-1 vs. Italy.

England do look solid as rocks, with a mission to again reach the Euro finals and hopefully bring home the trophy this time as they reached the final in the previous attempt.
