Leicester said to return to Man Utd with hope of a shrewd signing to happen as changes up front looks likely

Leicester forwards Patson Dake and Kelechi Iheanacho both will be out in the AFCON during January and possibly also in the start of February. Jamie Vardy and Tom Cannon will be the option up front, so it’s said that a move for a third option would be preferable.

Man Utd forward Amad Diallo was heavily linked with a move to Leicester in the summer, but an injury in pre-season stopped it from happening. Diallo is back in training and Man Utd might be looking for a chance to loan him out again, after a very successful campaign at Sunderland last season.

The late form of Jamie Vardy also concerns as he looks a bit lost in the system of Enzo Maresca, not really a style that suits this project at all, with two wingers moving forward without passing the ball in the pockets and against Leeds the aging Vardy was not really season during the minutes he played.

Enzo Maresca looks to have created a style of play that gives Mavididi and Fatawu key roles as they move fast forward and you seldom get that ball passed at an early stage to get the first forward in position to make his run in behind defenders as Vardy is used to.

Amad Diallo will be a certain player to look for as a possible addition, and not surprised to see Leicester getting back to have a new look on him. He would be ideal as a loan option and hopefully something will be sorted to see Patson Daka finally making his move away from Leicester as his talent and skills surely deserves something totally different what he is experiencing at Leicester at the moment.

Patson Daka possess qualities that would be interesting for clubs to have a look at during the January transfer window and at least a loan move must be arranged as this is one of the priorities Enzo Maresca looks to have troubles with.
