Few could have guessed this to happen as we had hopes of seeing JV9 back in a Leicester shirt this season. He has decided to join Burnley on a short term deal out the season, trying to help The Clarets out of a difficult start to the season, seeing them in a relegation spot at the moment.
Aaron Ramsey, who spent last season on loan at Leicester, will be playing with Jamie Vardy at Burnley this season. Ramsey (23) has played in all 5 league games, and scored 1 goal so far.
After five games, Burnley have lost three and drawn two. They are at the bottom of the table, which is not their goal for the season. Hopefully, Jamie Vardy can help them move out of the bottom three.
JV9 was released after ending his time at Leicester with a relegation from Premier League. He decided to join Cremonese in Italy, newly promoted to Serie A. He managed to score 7 goals in 29 league games for his Italian side, but it was far from enough to stay up.
Jamie Vardy was back at Seagrave for training during the summer, but no concrete talk of a return came up, just a few ITK accounts talking up a potential reunion, something that never happened.

Any how nice to see Jamie Vardy back in English football, one level above Leicester, hopefully being able to contribute and deliver what is needed to help his club back on track as we do believe they will.
Burnley is currently managed by Nicky Hayen. They ended second from bottom in Premier League last season and as it looks at the moment, taking the same route as Leicester, if they can’t find a way to cope with life in this tier of football.
