Leicester fielded a solid starting line-up in this game, featuring Alex McCarthy in goal. Jayden Joseph, Ben Nelson, Caleb Okoli, and Luke Thomas in defense. Sammy Braybrooke, Oliver Skipp and Louis Page in midfield. Stephy Mavididi, Kirsten Otchere and Will Alves up front.

Leicester came out in high press and took advantage from start. Malaga, newly promoted to Primera, had all types of problems to adjust. Leicester were solid and compact in every area.

The fourth game of pre-season, this time giving the captaincy to Olabade Aluko. Fielding Alex McCarthy in goal for his first game, having Faes, Souttar and Ali in the defensive positions. Hamza Choudhury, Tommy Neale and Conor Chaplin in midfield. Up front, Lorenz Hutchinson, Jake Evans and Riley Carr.

Leicester started well and nearly scored early, but Riley Carr missed an open goal by hitting the ball too hard, causing it to go wide.

The third outing of the pre-season, playing Burton Albion away this Saturday. Jacub Stolarczyk in goal, Luke Thomas being the captain, playing Caleb Okoli and Ben Nelson in the heart of defence.

interesting midfield set up having Sammy Braybrooke, Oliver Skipp and Louis Page together, moving Will Alves out to the right in attack, being partnered by Kirsten Otchere and Stephy Mavididi. Olabade Aluko making up the numbers playing in the right back position.
