The ideal signing for next season involving Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle and Leicester City

To win the impossible race might be difficult and some say it’s a no go situation, but could it really happen that Brendan Rodgers pulls off a deal that in real looks totally impossible.

Southampton are flying at the moment with a certain Danny Ings scoring goals on demand and being so influential in a team that has been rising since the new year.

Leicester City looks close to winning a deal for Adam Lallana and with him joining it could be also a chance to get Danny Ings if the right “package” is presented for Southampton regarding their special man.

Danny Ings would be the ideal player in a partnership with Jamie Vardy and with players such as Ayoze Perez and Adam Lallana in there you could see Leicester City flying. But how could this be a possible move.

Brendan Rodgers knows Adam and Danny from the past, Adam and Danny are two former team mates and have the same “lifeline” in football representing AFC Bournemouth, Southampton and Liverpool during their careers, and they know each other well, to join up with their former boss would probably be a dream scenario also able to again play in Europe and reach a new level in their career.

Leicester City have a great number of fringe players that could be tempted to get a new life at a club like Southampton. Kelechi Iheanacho could be part of a swop, and that could stop a possible move to Newcastle. Filip Benkovic, Nampalys Mendy, Islam Slimani and Adrien Silva er other names that could be looking at such a move with thrill.

TCF would be reluctant to see Demarai Gray leave, but if Southampton would let Danny Ings move on, then who knows. He is a “sniffer” Danny Ings, he would blend into the group and score a tally of goals and what a forward line it would be, just sensational.
