News today are that Marc Albrighton is chased by Burnley, with the flank midfielder in his final year at Leicester City. Brendan Rodgers was lucky enough with Christian Fuchs and Wes Morgan, in the fact that the two accepted to be largely on the fringe in their latter seasons. To see another pivotal player of continuity in a probable exit is a bit sad really, but of course no problem to understand this link to Burnley for the former Aston Villa man.

Albrighton (31) has a level of stability that seldom sees him doing a bad job. At the moment you don’t have a cover for him in the squad either as he is a player of cleverness and can pass the ball early on wide, not always going to the line before distributing.
But one key to a possible switch to Burnley could be the fact that Leicester City are turning to a three, five, two unit, then the need for Marc Albrighton might have vanished as he at present cannot be seen as a type of flank player in such a system, not having a full back behind him and in that way other alternatives looks much better with Justin, Castagne, Thomas, Bertrand and Pereira all clear alternatives in that type of system.

If Dennis Praet, Marc Albrighton and Hamza Choudhury all are on the exit path, and the football club can keep Youri Tielemans and James Maddison, this is surely a grand change in the fact that Leicester City are really eager to grab one of the top four positions and be chasing new trophies next season, if we again see a big fish leave, then we are just settling for a chance to do equal, which in a way might be difficult, but hopefully the change will be happening.
Real Madrid are said to be holding tabs on both Caglar Soyuncu and Wesley Fofana, with Barcelona also in the hunt for the Turkey international. TCF believe that none of these two will leave Leicester City, that would be a totally strange act with both players on long term deals.
With a grand possibility to cash in on fringe players and also free up money with a possible sale of cover goalkeeper Danny Ward and flank midfielder Rachid Ghezzal, it could be that Brendan Rodgers are looking at a leaner squad of much more quality or will a Marc Albrighton move see a possible place for Ghezzal, watching him in Turkey, he’s been sensational and at the age of 29, he could be the ideal man to slot in if Albrighton leaves.
Exciting days in front as we have updated our rumours list, and a last view on that possible Burnley switch for Albrighton, would it be an opening to finally get the hands on James Tarkowski, or ability to get Dwight McNeil finally on board, who knows in those excting days before games are played in pre-season, coming up shortly.
