New Arsenal approach for Maddison could change the picture completely!

Arsenal are said to be willing to give Leicester a possible bid on James Maddison, putting a player in the hat with cash, and the name really makes it sensible for Leicester to consider such a move.

To see the name Joe Willock mentioned makes this an interesting package, spending last season on loan at Newcastle, playing 14 PL games, scoring 8 goals, and with Leicester having Youri Tielemans and Wilfred Ndidi both established midfielders in their squad, Willock could be the ideal man to get in.

Why is that, it’s because it will be a totally different scenario than with James Maddison who wants to lead the line and be that important player, and with Bouba Soumare already at the club and also having Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Papy Mendy available, believing Hamza Choudhury and Dennis Praet leaving soon, it could be a perfect set up for Brendan Rodgers.

Willock is only 21, been capped at almost every level for England up to that age and played four times for the U.21’s. Willock will probably not be the player Mikel Arteta would go for as a leading midfielder for The Gunners, but at Leicester, Willock will get a totally different role and a bit of time as results will not depend on him and it could be the perfect solution for both player and club.

TCF believe that a move with Joe Willock in the mix could be drawn down to £35million and then Arsenal would be in there and get the signing through. James Maddison’s girlfriend did recently give birth to a baby boy, and the new little family might be excited about the idea to move close to a big and major city with Maddison’s girl friend being a model and earlier lived in Los Angeles.

We just have to wait and see were this is heading, but it would probably be a win win for all parties if this goes through. A move earlier saying that James Maddison just moving to Arsenal for them to be paying £60million up front looks totally unlikely, but with Joe Willock thrown into the hat this could change the piciture completely.
