Leicester are opening their FA Cup campaign as title holders and will get head to head with Watford on King Power tomorrow and of course despite having injury worries being the favorites in this game.
Claudio Ranieri will be back again to try to get something out of it and would probably settled with a draw and taking the chance of a winner at home, but again many games to be played going forward so hopefully everyone will see this game settled with a win to either side.
Date: 08.01.22, Venue: King Power Stadium, Match: FA Cup
Going back and looking at previous results you do find a great number of interesting once and especially when you look back to those great memories of 82. Leicester did play Watford in the 5th round winning 2-0 on the day.
Watford do have quality in their squad and on the day they can upset anyone and you cannot take anything for certain against a man like Claudio Ranieri.

Backpass
Looking in the back mirror you have of course a number of players who have crossed paths. Steve Sims might be the first to come to mind as he did a grand start at Leicester and played most of his career with Watford over two spells being a key in the push for top flight football at Vicarage Road.
Tom Cleverley is a player who have been at both clubs and at present the only one still on the books. He could be playing tomorrow, but not been listed at all places, maybe also Claudio Ranieri is wondering a bit and will rest a few of his key players.
Leicester do not have many options so they will probably play those who are available. An exciting view is to see who Brendan Rodgers will line up alongside Jannik Vestergaard if he gambles with Castagne and Bertrand alongside him or goes for a flat four bringing in either Nelson or Benkovic. There are options to look at but of course interesting to see what the manager will do.
Leicester will go out as favorites and fans will be dissappointed if Leicester are not able to settle the score and to see three men up front will be what we feel is the correct way, playing Lookman or Albrighton, Perez and Barnes if fit and available.
This will be one interesting game to watch and it should be possible to field a team of quality with what is available at this moment.
