TCF rates Papy Mendy highly and so does Brendan Rodgers falling in to a trap in the summer as he did not see the quality of his midfield dynamo. We all know that a loan move to Galatasaray fell through at the last minute and again that failure led to another massive blunder.
Papy Mendy was only allowed to play EFL cup competition games until January, but we believe that Brendan Rodgers has listed his dead man walking as he cannot again gamble. Hopefully Brendan Rodgers will let Mendy be involved in more than swimming pool action during this end campaign of the season.
Nampalys Mendy fit and in form is a top midfielder at a perfect age as we have seen in the AFCON and him being voted man of the match in the last game.
Senegal are through to the semi-finals and Mendy will be a Leicester player also after this transfer window, something else would be a surprise.
To have Mendy back playing in all competitions will be like a massive signing as the midfielder surely will give Brendan Rodgers more depth and hopefully show him that he has something to offer.
Mendy joined Leicester in 2016 and has since had a in and out spell at the club not really settling in as well as we would have hoped. At his best a brilliant midfielder, but often overlooked as his offensive skills is not of the best.
Interesting to follow and see how Brendan Rodgers will act on Mendy’s recent performances.
