Leicester did get one player called up to the full England squad this week, James Justin, but few recognized this the most as the leaving out of James Maddison grabbed the headlines.

This massive call up was overshadowed of James Maddsion being left out again, and of course not the best way to cover such a massive message almost being overlooked.

We are over the moon to see James Justin called up and hopefully getting his debut during four games coming up. Home and away against Hungary, Germany and Italy are on a very interesting menu and hopefully Justin will make his full debut.

James Justin was close to getting into the England frame before his injury as he trained with the full squad during his U.21 representation.

James Justin tweeted his delight on the call up and of course fantastic for him after coming back and contributing well in the latter stages of this season, brilliant news for the club and the player himself.

Justin was signed by Brendan Rodgers in the summer of 2019 and has since played 49 league games and scored twice. He has picked up eight U.21 caps and can now add to his international record. He has been one climbing up from the England youth teams.

24 years of age and on the way up, he looks as one to be steady and will if making the grade Steve Whitworth and Ben Chilwell as Leicester full back alternatives playing for England. Chilwell made his debut for England while at Leicester, Steve Whitworth played all his games as a Leicester player.

We wish James Justin all the best and hopefully we will see another Leicester player making his debut for England.

Ernie Hine, Sid Bishop, Sep Smith, Reg Osbourne, Len Berry, Horace Bailey, Gordon Banks, Peter Shilton, Steve Whitworth, Keith Weller, Frank Worthington, Gary Lineker, Emile Heskey, Steve Guppy, Jamie Vardy, Ian Walker, Ben Chilwell, Danny Drinkwater, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes are all players playing for England as Leicester representatives. We will see if James Justin is the next to follow.
