Leicester will try to do the business needed to get the season on track with more moves in and out as moves could happen close to the very last hours of the transfer window.

Wesley Fofana is gone, and of course a massive gap to fill. Leicester struggled last season without him and of course having Jonny Evans and Wilfred Ndidi out made the situation grim.

Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund is a player eyed by Leicester. The Swizz international is said to be available for a price of £17million. He has not played any games in the Bundesliga this season and not been inlcuded in the squad.

Before his time in Germany he had spells at Winterthur and Basel and in total added up 196 league appearances in total and scored 10 goals. He joined Borussia Dortmund in 2018 and looks to be on his way out and as a European a good addition.

He is a clever passer of the ball and one that of course could be a bit similar to Fofana and at 27 the ideal age to be a first team regular over number of years. Inter is said also to be keen, so we just have to wait and see if Leicester gets the nod.

As mentioned above so far not involved in any Bundesliga games for his current club this season so to expect him as a direct startet would be a surprise as his match fitness might not be at the level needed at this point. We would rather see a soft introduction which in a way would be something to address if a move is to happen.
