Harry Maguire scored one of the three goals in open play for Man Utd. Mark Robins and his Coventry team fought hard and managed to come back after being 3-0 down, getting a penalty shoot out, but with two players missing their penalties it was Harry Maguire and his Man Utd that again will play the final, also thir year, as last year, coming up against Man City.

Chelsea played Man City in the other final with Ben Chilwell coming on in the 88th minute, but he had no special impact as his team was 1-0 down when he came in from the bench.

Luke Thomas started the game for Middlesbrough when they took on Leeds at home, being defeated 4-3 in the end with Thomas leaving the field in the 68th minute.

Timothy Castagne played 82 minutes for Fulham in their fantastic 3-0 home win to Spurs. Castagne also got an assist on the 2-0 goal. Fulham are currently 12th on 42 points as they looks to have secured their Premier League status with this massive win. James Maddison was probably not a smiling face, leaving the field for Spurs after 66 minutes.

Lewis Brunt has been one of the most trusted players by Nigel Clough as Mansfield have secured a promotion to League One. Brunt has played 32 league games so far and scored 2 goals.

Bouba Soumare is impressing in midfield for Sevilla, as they defeated Mallorca 2-1 at home and looks as if they pulled themselves together and left the relegation zone in La Liga.

Victor Kristiansen came on as a 2nd half sub in the fantastic 3-1 away win vs. Roma. Bologna are currently 4th in Serie A and hopefully the Dane will be back in the starting line-up soon.

Daniel Iversen kept a clean sheet as Stoke City took a step towards securing their Sky Bet Championship on Saturday. The Potters triumphed 3-0 over Plymouth Argyle at bet365 Stadium to move onto 50 points and into 17th position, four points above the drop zone. The Danish ‘keeper’s fifth league shutout in 16 appearances should see Steven Schumacher’s side remain in the second tier for another term.

Paul Appiah played for Maidstone who won the Kent Senior Cup Final. They youngster will get valuable experience from his stay at the 6th level, hopefully getting back into the u.21 frame next season or taking a further step and into league action on a new loan spell somewhere else.

Leicester City loanee Nathan Opoku faces months on the sidelines after suffering a double leg fracture. This was during a match vs. Westerloo ending in a 1-1 draw.

Chris Wood has scored 12 league goals in 27 games this season, but had no luck in their recent 0-2 away defeat to Everton. The New Zealand international played the full game for Forest at Goodison Park.

It looks as if Caglar Soyuncu will return to Atletico Madrid when the season is over for Fenerbahce. He has been on the field in 7 league games so far, but was benched for the clash with Olympiakos in the Conference. Zenghis Under also in from the bench in the game that ended in defeat after penalties.
