Leicester are eager to get more players out on loan and George Hirst is next out the door. But before he is set to join Blackburn he will sign a new deal with the club.

The 23 year old forward has this season featured once for the U.21’s and scored 2 goals in the 3-1 win vs. West Ham. His talent is one to recognize and his goalscoring touch something to cherish.

George Hirst played last season for Portsmouth and impressed at League One level. Two seasons ago he was on loan at Rotherham, playing in Championship. He has in the past also had spells at Sheffield Wednesday and OH Leuven.

With the sale of Wesley Fofana Leicester will be able to keep more players as they hopefully can get them out on loan instead of selling to low prices. This will over time give players options and doing well another chance to earn more on transfers will be possible.

George Hirst was expected to leave but Leicester were not keen on selling him for a cut price to Portsmouth, instead loaning him out to Blackburn for a season looks as a grand plan.
