The fact that Leicester got promoted and are back in Premier League also triggered a certain clause in the loan contract of Abdul Fatawu, saying that Leicester will have to pay a fee of €17million for the 20 year old.

A young prospect and of course still raw and unpredictable, but with a workrate and quality that would see him as a potential top player in the future, but to throw a bit of cold water into the bowl, Kasey McAteer will challenge him hard for next season and the fee looks sky high at this point.

Leicester have in the past made a lot of strange moves in the transfer market and shuffled loaned money around Europe to buy up players they in real have no need for and must be seen as heavy gambles. Some have turned out fantastic, others have just been a vaste.

The future at Leicester with their financial difficulties at present will of course reflect those transfer fee the club have to pay, and if Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is staying, the club have few options to get the money in to keep their path clear.

We will most certainly see a number of major sales, even suggested that Leicester would consider selling Abdul Fatawu to a new club when he is as hot as he is at the moment, just to keep their obligations and again getting good money for a player that potentially could be on the fringe next season.

There will be much excitement regarding players coming and going this summer with a number of issues to solve. The signing of Abdul Fatawu looks to be a done deal, and hopefully Leicester will be able to do the business needed.
