Leicester related players becoming free agents with Everton, Bolton, Wrexham, Aston Villa and Fenerbahce linked

Ahmed Musa is without a club since leaving Sivasspor in February. Musa (31) captained Nigeria in this years AFCON, without playing a single minute, but been described in favourable words as one important for the squad as Nigeria reached the final of the tournament.

We all have to wait for decisisions to be made regarding Leicester related players, currently waiting for reports to be made on their different situations. Shane Flynn is one definate to leave, as he himself has confirmed he has no future at the club. A number of injuries made it difficult to build on prior seasons of good progress and he will seek chances elsewhere.

Leicester cannot do any type of concrete business as long as they are under an embargo from the EFL, waiting for everything to be cleared when they are officially back under Premier League rules and regulations.

The current status regarding the players out of contract is the following. Luke Thomas looks to leave, with interest from Bolton. Dennis Praet is also said to be certain to leave, the player himself drawn to the idea of returning to Serie A and possibly get a deal done with Torino. Kelechi Iheanacho is one to leave with interest from Fenerbahce, Aston Villa and Everton. Marc Albrighton will leave for play at lower levels with Burton Albion mentioned as a possible destination.

Wilfred Ndidi, Jamie Vardy and Jannik Vestergaard are all said to be offered new deals. Vardy and Vestergaard looks eager to stay, with rumours about Vardy being linked with Como and Wrexham. Ndidi is said to be open to stay, but not ruled out a move if the correct offer comes along. Galatasaray, Everton and Aston Villa are all said to be monitoring the situation.

Matty James is a free agent, with him open to different options as they will surely come forward after an impressive season at Bristol City. Latest are that he could put pen to paper to a deal at Bristol City, said to have a possible obening for the 32 year old, to continue his career at Ashton Gate.

Andy King was also on that released list together with James, and has confirmed he will retire from professional football at the age of 35. Richard Stearman (36) is also unattached after leaving NFL club Solihull Moors. Stearman looks to be eager to continue playing as the former Leicester and England U.21 international looks for new options. We have earlier reported on Liam Moore, being out looking for a new club, as his short term deal with Northampton is out.

Chris Wood is out of contract in the summer, but it looks likely that he will pen a new deal with the club. Jonny Evans surprisingly joined Man Utd after last years relegation at Leicester. His one year deal is out in the summer with of course options to be singled out. Cedric Kipre is a very integral part of the West Bromwich team fighting for promotion in the play-off’s, but out of contract in the summer.

Former Leicester goalkeeper Ben Hamer is out of contract at Watford, having played 19 league games for The Hornets this season. He could still have a few years left in the professional game, 36 years of age. Lee Peltier is out of contract at Rotherham, as the 37 year old has said he needs a rest, but could be possibly be handed a new deal at the club.

Josh Knight is out of contract at Peterborough, and could be considering other options as he possibly could get offers from clubs higher in the hiararchy, but The Posh are keen on him staying and said to be offering him an extension. A bit more uncertainty about his team-mate Vontae Daley-Campbell, currently on a deal out the season, but without playing a single game for Peterborough so far.

Sam Hughes is out of contract at Burton Albion, being among the clubs best players. He could also be one considering his options as other clubs in higher tiers could be offering him a chance to move on. Martyn Waghorn has this season been important for Derby as they secured promotion, but him being out of contract and coming to a certain age, he might be one to leave. We just have to wait and see what will happen.

Ryan Bennett (34) had a good season at Cambridge, but set to leave the club, despite having played 41 league games this season. Curtis Davis (39) will leave Cheltenham Town, after their relegation to League Two. Goalkeeper Adam Smith is out of contract at Morecambe.
