The women’s team is preparing for the new season. Alisha Lehman is expected to play a key role in the rebuild, and pre-season preparations are in good hands under Rick Passmoor’s coaching.
Still early days but a number of major changes seen in the squad. Defender Nelly Las has signed for Chelsea. Goalkeeper Janina Leitzig has departed and joined Manchester United. Finland international Jutta Rantala and France U23 player Noemie Mouchon will not either be at Leicester next season, both have signed for Everton.
Hannah Cain, Chantelle Swaby and Rosella Ayane have also departed as their contracts expired in June. Cain has joined Everton. Swaby and Ayane is yet to decide on their next chapter.
There are a number of new arrivals. Defender Sarah Mayling joining from Aston Villa. She has turned an initial loan spell into a permanent deal. The 29 year old will be a valuable player for Leicester, completing 11 league games in WSL last season.
Another new arrival is defender Leah Eddie, joining from Rangers. She is a full international, capped 4 times for Scotland. The 25 year old earlier represented Hibs.
The women team returned to pre-season training on the 20th of July.

The new kits are also out with a good presentation from the women team. We believe this will be a good fit for both the women and mens team. The home kit next season is an all blue, the away kit in burgunder and with white shorts.
