For some time we have heard the news about the possible additions of Harry Winks and Conor Coady, today both were officially confirmed as Leicester City players.

Both will bring experience and skills needed to get this team back up to the best party.

The club also announced the OH Leuven loan move of Nathan Opoku. Opoku joined Leicester in January and straight away joined the Belgian sister club, and contributed straight away. He will be playing at the highest level in a good league that hopefully will see him return to Leicester in the future.

No news of Esteban Cambiasso or Roberto Vitiello coming in, but four other names being confirmed as new members of the Enzo Maresca coaching staff. Danny Walker has earlier been linked and is now officially in. he will join from Peterborough and worked as Maresca’s assistant while in charge of Man City U.23.

Mike Stowell will be replaced as goalkeeper coach by Michele De Bernardin, who has earlier worked with Maresca at Parma, and was last at Sampdoria. The 45 year old has a long CV of clubs and hopefully will fill the gap after Stowell in the best way possible.

Marcos Alvarez and Javier Molina Caballero are also new faces taking on the role as first team fitness coach (MA) and First team analyst (JMC), both coming in with grand experience from clubs abroad.

Good to see steps are taken to bring the club into shape and in new colours as this exciting adventure hopefully will bring success and be a long term settlement, with a lot of changes done at this stage, and more to follow.
