Enzo Maresca looks to field a strong side again as Leicester take on Bristol City away on Friday the 28th. A number of players are back from international action and hopefully fully fit to be part of the team playing The Robins in this early kick off game tomorrow.
There are a number of players back from injury with Jamie Vardy certain to be part of the squad, Ricardo Pereira and Dennis Praet could also be in the squad, likely to miss out are Tom Cannon, Kasey McAteer and Ben Nelson.
A bit uncertainty on Bristol City captain and former Leicester man Matty James as Andy King might be coming in to play from start. With James out, the team has struggled, but late reports are that he could make the game on time with manager Liam Manning, of course trying to make it difficult for Leicester. Manning came in after Nigel Pearson to take over the team in November last year. He had previously been in charge of Oxford and MK Dons, as well as Lommel and West Ham u.23.
Bristol City are currently 14th in the table, having a bit of form dip at the moment, counting only one win in the last five last games, the other four all defeats.
We are a bit uncertain and not really clear on the line-up, but believe Mads Hermansen will be in goal. Not sure who will play to the right with Ricardo Pereira a bit uncertain, Hamza Choudhury looks to be the preferred choice. Callum Doyle or James Justin to the left, Faes and Vestergaard looks the pair in central defence. Ndidi, Winks and Dewsbury-Hall the midfield. Mavididi and Fatawu both starting, possibly Daka or Vardy up front, also having Kelechi Iheanacho as an alternative starter. Yunus Akgun has made the team recently, so who knows.

Kit:
Back in November Hummel’s UK distributor, Elite Sports Group went into administration which led to the club agreeing a multi year deal with Irish kit manufacturers O’Neills in a multi year deal. With fears that there won’t be enough 2022-23 kits available for the playing squad, Bristol City have taken the decision to release the 2023-24 home kit now and will wear it for the remainder of the 2022-23 season. The new 2023-24 Bristol City home kit is inspired by the iconic ‘Hirerite’ home shirt from the 1989-90 season and sees a red jersey featuring double white pinstripes running down the front of the football shirt.
