When meeting Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for the player of the season award, he told LCSCSB representatives, he would love to get a chance to visit Norway, some time in the future. Something a special group of Leicester youth players are doing this weekend.
Leicester City U.14’s are currently competing in Flint Micasa Cup, taking place in Tonsberg, Norway. Leicester have reached the semi-final after good results today and yesterday, facing Hearts in that game tomorrow morning.
Surely a talented team with good structure and ball controll. as well as having driblers out wide with good pace to get past opponents. The field played on, was not of great quality, and for teams at this level it should be better turfs, but with good technique and close control, you manage to get your results to bay anyway.
Games on the first day was just 20 minutes long, so you will not get much time to settle a win, but Leicester managed to get through from the early stages, with 3 wins and 1 draw. Today the games were 2 x 20 minutes and you get a bit more time to settle your score, as it looked very controlled from a Leicester point of view, winning all their games.

A massive test tomorrow against Hearts, winning their quarter final, 9-0. Leicester came through with a 1-0 win. Liverpool are in the other semi-final, facing Halsen, a local team from the Vestfold county. The 4th division club are known for producing good players, some have reached the Norwegian top flight and also full international level.
