Gary Lineker Spot On In His Leicester City PSR Analysis As Big Issue Likely Scrapped

As we have pointed out so many times before, Leicester will see no points deduction at all. There is no evidence whatsoever. Former Leicester player Gary Lineker heavily questions the talk regarding this. He believes there is no real case to call, as we have said all along.

The doomsday prophets are out there to talk about possible outcomes. They speculate on what could happen if certain events occur. However, the Dorset’s, Football Insider’s, and Percy’s can just discard their predictions. These predictions have no substance.

I would rather listen to Gary Lineker. He has the correct spirit and tone regarding this hopeless PSR system. The setup is not really worth what it’s written on. We get storms of reaction from fans who love to see their own club in trouble. They have paraded against the current owner and DOF. They have their own agenda. They would like to see the people running this football club being punished hard. This is an attempt to gain some sort of momentum for their negative approach over the last two years.

We do not have a crystal ball to tell us the outcome of the hearings. It cannot show us what will come next. However, we believe the fog inside EFL and PL offices is so thick. They will not get through with this charade.

Certain fans have posted us. They said all loopholes have been plugged. A chance to get away this time looks out of the question. We never answer these comments as they are just talk of negative predictions. You can not use new rules on old sanctions and regulations, that is not possible, so far from correct.

Leicester have not breached anything since new rules and regulations were effected. You can certainly go back and set new standards. However, it can hardly apply to cases from past seasons when this was not the law. So, this looks difficult.

We have said before and will say again. Any points deduction will not be accepted by Leicester. They will fight this to the bitter end. We have mentioned this many times. Leicester has many reasons to appeal. One reason is the situation regarding Man City.

There are many reasons why sanctions cannot be implemented. We listed these reasons previously. However, the Man City situation makes it difficult for any club to be sanctioned. Forest and Everton got a deduction. It did not interfere with their status as a club in the top flight. In their case, they can just let it pass and accept.

Leicester could if deductions are effected, miss out on direct promotion, a play-off position or face relegation. The club will fight until the very end of the season. Hopefully, this effort will help the club avoid sanctions this time around.
