Jordan Ayew Scores In Ghana Defeat, Patson Daka Scores in Zambia Win, Leicester Related Action in Recent Games

Jordan Ayew captaining Ghana in their friendly today vs. Austria. Ayew scored after 77 minutes. However, the game was a flat disaster for the Leicester attacker and his team. It all ended in a 1-5 defeat. Abdul Fatawu was also in the starting line-up leavng the field after 77 minutes.

Two days ago, Patson Daka scoring the first of two goals for Zambia in their 2-1 friendly win vs. Malawi.

Hugo de Lisle was in the starting line-up for England U17 vs. Israel. England were outplayed as the afternoon ended with a 1-4 defeat.

Ben Nelson was an unused sub for England U21 when they drew 1-1 yesterday in a Euro qualification game vs. minor nation Andorra. A disappointing result for Lee Carsley and his players, but they are still top of their qualifcation group.

Ryan Donnelly from start for N Ireland U21 in their Euro qualification vs. Germany. A disappointing 0-3 defeat for the Leicester flank man and his team.

Games were also on in League One and League Two this Saturday. In League One, Richie Wellens and his Orient drew 0-0 away to Exeter. In League Two Brad Young kept a clean sheet for Bristol Rovers in their 2-0 home win vs. Accrington. Nathan Opoku came on as a second half sub when Christian Fuchs and his Newport defeated Shrewsbury 1-0 at home. Newport are out of the relegation zone with six games left of the season. Ian Holloway and his Swindon drew 1-1 at home to Fleetwood.

In National League, Chris Popov was in action for Morecambe as they did see a 0-2 defeat vs. Aldershot. A great 4-2 win for Robbie Savage and his Forest Green team as they are up in the play-off’s.

Oli Ewing in the Scunthorpe starting eleven in their 2-1 away win vs. Halifax.
