Kasper, Kelechi and MON in Celtic League Victory, Vardy Scoring, Leicester Ex Men and Loan Player Report

This weekend, former Leicester players Martin O’Neill, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Kasper Schmeichel won the Scottish League title, on the last day of the season. They managed a 3-1 win, against their closest rival, Hearts, passing them on the final day. Iheanacho played in the second half and helped secure the win, while Schmeichel missed the match due to injury. Best wishes to the former Leicester trio.

Also on Saturday, Andrej Kramaric played from start for Hoffenheim in their 0-4 away defeat to Borussia M’gladbach. Kramaric was earlier in the week named in the Croatia 2026 World Cup squad.

On Friday at Villa Park, Youri Tielemans was in the starting line-up for Aston Villa in their 4-2 home win to Liverpool. Trey Nyoni was an unused sub for Liverpool.

Dennis Preat was in the starting line-up for Antwerpen in their 0-3 away defeat to OH Leuven. The Leicester sister club played in the B group of the finals, ending 6th. Next season the Belgian league will be back to a more regular set up, playing the league over 38 games, with any sections splits in the end.

Stuttgart in a 2-2 draw on Saturday, away to Frankfurt. Bilal El Khannouss was an unused sub on the day. Wesley Fofana in the starting line-up for Chelsea in their 0-1 defeat to Man City in the FA Cup final.

Henry Cartwright in the starting line-up for Falkirk in their 3-5 defeat at home to Rangers. Tawanda Maswanhise in the starting line-up for Motherwell in their 1-0 away win to Hibs.

This Sunday, Harry Maguire in the starting line-up for Man Utd in their 3-2 home win vs. Forest. Chris Wood starting for Forest in a duo up front. Jamie Vardy scoring the winner for Cremonese in their 1-0 home win vs. Udinese.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the Everton line-up in their dissappointing 1-3 home defeat to Sunderland. Michael Keane also a starter for The Toffees. James Justin in the starting line-up for Leeds in their 1-0 home win vs. Brighton.

Calvin Bassey and Timothy Castagne both starting in the 1-1 draw away to Wolves. Harvey Barnes starting for Newcastle in their 3-1 home win vs. West Ham, having Mads Hermansen in goal.

Ademola Lookman scoring the only goal in the game between his Atletico Madrid and Girona. Ayoze Perez in the starting line-up for Villareal in their 0-2 away defeat to Rayo Vallecano.

Wout Faes in the starting line-up for Monaco when they were defeated 4-5 vs. Strasbourg. Ben Chilwell not involved. Jesse Lingard starting for Corinthians in their 1-3 away defeat to Botafogo.

Kamal Sowah in the starting line-up for NAC Breda in their 3-3 away draw with AZ Alkmaar. Yesterday Ignasi Miquel was in the starting line-up for Leganes in their 0-0 home draw vs. Huesca.
