In recent days we have seen Leicester being linked with several players in different positions. To see Leicester linked with another flank alternative is not difficult to understand, it just confirms that Stephy Mavididi and even Will Alves can be regarded as potential selling assets. Bobby De Cordova-Reid has also been listed among players who could leave in the window.
Harry Howell and Liam Cullen are players who can operate in other positions and might be more of use as offensive midfielders, than being placed out on the flank. The players seen linked, and the latest one, Jack Diamond from Stockport, is a versitale option, preferebly playing on the left wing, which is one position Stephy Mavididi is playing in, seeing him as a potential sale before the transfer window close.
Another exciting link is the one pointing at Northern Ireland international Patrick Kelly from Barnsley. With a potential move for Oliver Skipp and Hamza Choudhury to happen, he looks a player to call to have more alternatives in that area.
A third player yet to make a move is Abdul Abdulmalik from Boreham Wood, earlier being talked up as a potential signing for Leicester. He could be on the move late in the transfer window, so not surprised to see him being approached. He can play up front or on the flank.
There are talks about one more central defender to join, seeing the name of former Wolves and Forest defender Willy Boly mentioned at a number of ITK accounts. The 36 year old defender is a free agent. Would be a strange addition, but you never know what type of terms he would join the club on and in what way he is seen with his contribution.

There are no further news today on the progress of a potential Harry Souttar move to Wrexham. Talks were yesterday reported as opened, but far from a concluded affair. Souttar (27) is seen by Russell Martin as one important, being given the captaincy. If he stays, great, if not and being able to get a fee in the region of £10million will also be acceptable.
The fact that Leicester looks for players in the landscape from 0 to £2million, makes it obvious that what is available will struggle to compete with a group of youngsters at Leicester who are potentially selling objects in the near future with a much higher value, so you need to be carefull what you bring in.
With all the uncertainty regarding players leaving, there could be difficult to predict rumours up against each other, but fans do not have to panic whenever they see a name linked not really being what they believe is needed at this time. having two flank alternaitves on short term loan deals, and having Stephy Mavididi and Bobby De Cordova-Reid as potential sales, you need possibly one more addition.
Different outlets are out to put pressure on the recruitment team, but in all fearness this is up to a panel of people inside the club to make the move, with the first team manager being the one having the say on how he will field a certain player. The recruitment team do not demand certain things, they are covering a search and potential, having a dialogue internally, hopes are this will turn out well.
Leicester will, if they are unable to get a correct move out for, Woyo Coulibaly, Caleb Okoli, Harry Souttar and Wout Faes, have a group of defenders of great quality at the club. We believe Stephy Mavididi, Hamza Choudhury, Woyo Coulibaly and Wout Faes will leave. Oliver Skipp, Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Caleb Okoli are other players who could follow. With no concrete suiters for Reid, and too high transfer fee demands for Okoli and Skipp, they are also likely to stay. Harry Souttar will leave if any club are willing to pay the asking price, believed to be in the region of £10million, if not, he will stay.
Michael Golding looks to be joining Shrewsbury on loan. He has not been involved much in first team affairs since joining the club and could do with a fresh chance somewhere else.
