John Lundstrom is linked with a move to Leicester. We will just wait and see what it will be. His current club Trabzonspor is said to be close to ter.inate his contract.
Another rumour getting hot, is the one on Hibs defender Warren O’Hora. The Irishman previously worked with Russell Martin at MK Dons.
Both players are strongly suggested to be on their way to the club.
With certainty of Harry Souttar staying and the rumour of his brother John fading, presumably said to be staying at Rangers, O’Hara is the leading link at the moment. We have seen a number of central defenders being written up as pitential signings, but at the minute, O’Hora is the number one target.
Stephy Mavididi moving to Watford? and Caleb Okoli to Cagliari? are two moves that can happen in the next hours. Watford had a direct såot to fill. Okoli will go straight into the starting line up at the Serie A outfit.
John Lundstrom would be a quality addition, but the risk of bringing in experienced players in their 30’s, seeking a long term deal, is the fact that Leicester often have underestimated the factor of giving long term deals to get an aging player. This can backfire, and become a huge problem, unbalancing the squad.
Emil Riis looks to be on his way, hopefully getting everything sorted before the final close.
