Leicester future looks exciting as Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal are defeated recent win shows great progress

Leicester u.18 are fifth in their league and a great 2-0 win away to Chelsea shows how the youth have progressed and are on a really exciting path. Goals from Brandon Ashley Cover and Amani Richards secured the victory.

Cover is a midfielder and Amani, who came on as a sub, is an attacker, replacing the highly rated US born forward Zac Booth. Amani joined the club from Arsenal in January. This is a group of players to look out for and will be pushing for a place in the u.23’s next season as some allready have made their mark on that level.

Brendan Rodgers made seven changes and rested a few of the players who have had different injury problems. The team was either way a strong unit and those given a chance from start made great effort.

Leicester will on Sunday play Crystal Palace at home and we do feel this is a key game going forward. A win would see Leicester having no worries of what is behind but can consentrate on getting a grand end ot the season and climb further.
