Callum Wright is a player that has had a life in both camps, joining Plymouth Argyle in January this year, after being a short term signing for Blackpool, coming in from Leicester in the summer of 2022.
The former Leicester development squad player and one to watch. Still a young man at the age of 23 who looks to have a position to play for The Pilgrims, taking part in the promotion to Championship last season and at this point looking to have a momentum, but still survival will be the main target for the club from the south coast.
Callum Wright has this season been out with a ligament knee injury that made him absent for a number of games, but he is now back, so far played 11 league games. The attacking midfielder came of the bench in their last game, a 2-1 win at home to Stoke.
Looking at Leicester’s oppenent and past players and world stars to have been on a visit or a permanent stay at Plymouth Argyle, Pelè comes to mind, being part of a Santos tour in 1973, playing at Home Park.
A sensational outcome really as the film from that day keeps no secrets. Plymouth Argyle fielded a team that day that had a number of legendary faces in their line-up. Mike Dowling, Derek Rickard and Jimmy Hinche score the goals that day for the home, sensationally being 3-0 up at half time.

There are of course many players with a past in both camps, remembering Lilian Nalis and Gordon Fincham as two of those greats. Ian Holloway is a legendary manager down south, but had another outcome in charge of Leicester.
