Free agents still available and one player could be a blessing in disguise as Leicester prepare exciting list of 25

As we mentioned earlier Leicester will be in search for a central defender with a few options possible still in the free agent market. Jonny Evans and Ryan Bertrand are both out with injuries and at their age to just push them into action will probably just send them back on the treatment table.

Wesley Fofana and Luke Thomas will not affect the list of 25 players as they are too young to be seen as full members, that would increase the number to 27, and with the club far from a limit on home grown, one more face would be possible to add or you could again gamble on Evans or Bertrand and just leave them out.

Chelsea crisis and surprise could come to rescue and be the perfect change for Leicester and the player in question

Brendan Rodgers made a move in the transfer market last summer that we all thought was well worth when he signed Ryan Bertrand from Soouthampton. The experienced 32 year old left back looked as a good selection and everyone was pleased.

Bertrand has seen his season going a bit in the wrong direction with sickness, injuries and lack of form brining him down the pecking order and currently seen as a third choice left back option. Chelsea do have a problem with Ben Chilwell out long term and is said to be interested in bringing Bertrand back to the club.

Will Leicester, Newcastle and Watford join race for ex Man City free agent defender once the most expensive in his position

Leicester are out looking as they chase new players to add to their squad. Brendan Rodgers would probably be keen to get the best possible solution for his team and looking short term, free agent, Eliaquem Mangala (30) might be a player to search.

Leaving Valencia at the end of last season, strangely the player, once described as a defensive monster, has not yet signed a contract with a new club. The former Man City defender could be one to look at when you are trying to find the standards needed and get the best out there. A move for Mangala will not not see a transfer fee.
