Next Saturday, 27th May, there will be a game on at Wembley that will be watched with special eyes, as the winner will follow Sheffield United and Burnley up and into Premier League.

Winning this game is said to be the most valuable in the World of football. Leicester could at the other end see themselves relegated, learning the road of lessons from Luton and Coventry, both having a dark cloud period behind them.

Recruitment under the radar as Leicester might have missed a clear identifier of massive decline and big losses

Leicester head of recruitment Martyn Glover do have a grand background in this trade, being around at a number of clubs, but still missing a massive lift in recruitment that has taken his clubs to a level far above. He has been working in the head of recruitment role or a major scouting position at Blackburn, West Ham, Leeds, Sunderland, Everton and Southampton.

Prior to Glover’s appointment, Leicester had Steve Walsh, Lee Congerton and Eduardo Macia as head of recruitment, all of them with another background and upbringing at top clubs such as Chelsea (Walsh, Congerton) and Liverpool (Macia).

Who to believe in the race for a reliable transfer rumour as Leicester soon approach silly season

Football never stops, as we soon approach what we all know as silly season. The phenomena goes back to 1886, and is used in a number of different terms and settings, not really accointed to football in the first place, but has in later years been adopted as a signal of gossip and rumours regarding coming and goings of players and managers.

We will also this summer follow all activity, but as said earlier, try to be even more accurate in our articles posted. With last summer in mind, talk about Youri Tielemans and James Maddison resulted in no transfers and had in real no substance, despite a lot of talk coming from sources from all tiers.
