Leicester with lovely gesture towards a special group of fans as one game on the 17th of May comes to mind

Leicester do have followers from all over the globe, and we are about 200 fans living in Norway. Today we celebrated the 17th of May, which is our most precious and special day of the year. To see the club remembering and thinking of us gave a great feeling.

This fanbase do have an aging group of supporters, most of us being in the 50’s and 60’s, and of course trying to bring on the knowledge and understanding about Leicester in our country. English football is massive in Norway and we also have a supporterunion for all supporter clubs of British teams, to keep the ball rolling and staying together as this is a major part of Norwegian sports culture.

Most saves in Europe voted player of the season and getting his first international call up being released by Leicester two years ago

Brendan Rodgers overlooked Viktor Johansson as the Swedish goalkeeper was let go and released from Leicester back in 2020. He had delivered steady performances for the U.23’s over a couple of seasons, but still not rated as a possible first team candidate at the club.

He joined Rotherham and in his first season seeing relegation, but helped the club back to a straight promotion and this season been among the better goalkeepers in the Championship, helping secure a place in the division also next season ending 19th.

Strange management at Liverpool, Celtic and Leicester clowned by Fulham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Palace and Brentford

Brendan Rodgers left his position at Leicester after a loss to Crystal Palace in April. No plan was set, but still the club owners decided to part company with the man that led the club to a semi-final in Europe last season and guided the club to safe shores in all of his seasons before.

No one faults his football vision and good ideas, but in some way he decided to make changes that became difficult to accept, looking at them in perspective.
