Football never stops, as we soon approach what we all know as silly season. The phenomena goes back to 1886, and is used in a number of different terms and settings, not really accointed to football in the first place, but has in later years been adopted as a signal of gossip and rumours regarding coming and goings of players and managers.

We will also this summer follow all activity, but as said earlier, try to be even more accurate in our articles posted. With last summer in mind, talk about Youri Tielemans and James Maddison resulted in no transfers and had in real no substance, despite a lot of talk coming from sources from all tiers.

We have reported on different transfer speculations over the years, and of course monitored all aspects of a possible transfer to happen. Often pinpointed a move, based on reliable sources, but also missed the target too often.

We do believe that we are able to bring you the most accurate signals and will do our best in the future not to tell fairytales about players not really being either close targets or a final signing.

Leicester will be in manager hunt this summer. Dean Smith is still very much in charge, but when his interim period comes to an end, there will surely be a thorough look at everything, before a permanent manager is appointed. One man that has been mentioned in the media lately is Jon Dahl Tomasson. The Dane has done a splended job at Blackburn since joining them last summer.

An appointment of Tomasson could see his first team coach at Blackburn, David Lowe, coming in. Lowe (57) is a former player at Leicester, playing as a forward, from 1992 to 1996.
