We all knew it would be difficult to field a competitive line-up and we have trolled and turned our heads to try to figure out what Brendan Rodgers would do and many different suggestions seen never managed to figure this line-up out.

Lewis Brunt is a 21 year old defender or has been this season coming in from Aston Villa. He has been a pivotal player in the U.23 line-up and a bit more experienced than Ben Nelson who was seen as an alternative and certainly been given his chances to train, being around the first team and also for games been named on the bench as he also is today.

FA Cup stats and facts and some remarkable and forgotten fixtures from the past visiting the foxes vault

Last season became a great uphill ride in the FA Cup and we all remember how fantastic it was to see Leicester lift the trophy at Wembley in front of our own fans with that 1-0 win and a screamer of a goal from Youri Tielemans.

Leicester do have a long history of FA Cup games as it goes back to 1890 and that very first qualifier vs. Burton Wanderers. It all ended in disaster with a 4-0 defeat as we take that result with us down memory lane to look at previous years and remarkable games against different opposition.

Aftermath from Aston Villa, please settle a system and a team, this is Leicester, not Real Madrid, Man City or Liverpool

Leicester do have a grand number of players to choose from but without a settled system, a method or policy that is easy to understand, then you are on a bit of trip towards decline or even moving into tragic outcomes.

The game today at Villa Park shows that being smart makes you look silly in the end. So far this season it’s been chopping and changing, resting people and forgetting the important stuff at times.
