A whisper today says that a deal is completed to bring Youri Tielemans to Leicester City. What the club will be paying or if any other players are going the opposite way is not yet known.

The fact that both player and club has seen this relationship as one very positive is of course well known. The hurdle can be to get it right regarding the price, believed to be in the region of £40million, and at the same time make a package that would be good for all parties.

The other player that could be in line for a Premier League return is Arjen Robben who just finished a fantastic period at Bayern Munich. The player could be keen on a return to the Premier League, with Leicester City seen as a possible new destination.

Franck Ribery is also a free agent but believed to be heading for other possible destinations or even considering retirement with an option to start a coaching career within the Bayern Munich system.

Robben would be the ideal signing, he still got plenty of pace, fantastic experience and routine and even able to settle for a place in a bit of rotation with others and could also be a super cover for Jamie Vardy up front if needed.

Brendan Rodgers will, according to Leicester Mercury, sign five new faces, with Tielemans looking certain to be one of those. Rodgers decided to release Shinji Okazaki and Danny Simpson, but so far no news about any other departures.

A number of players will return from loan spells and might be looking for a permanent move away. Islam Slimana, Fousseni Diabatte and Andy King are three in that category. Matty James, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wes Morgan would also probably be given a chance to leave if the right offer comes in.

Rodgers has hinted that Kelechi Iheanacho might be a player offered to others as a loan prospect with a number of clubs abroad keen on that idea. We will probably again this summer see younger players leaving for loan spells at lower league clubs as well.
