A day with some great news for Leicester City fans as the season looks almost certain to restart again with a settled day of June the 17th as the predicted restart. Hopefully everything is safe and we are of course all looking forward to get the season finished and hopefully get things back to normal again, it’s been a real pain for everyone.
The fact that Arsenal and Manchester United has been around sniffing on the young right back talent Dennis Gyamfi who has done well in the U.18’s this season with Leicester City in 4th place far above Arsenal.
Gyamfi’s contract is running out this summer and rumours are that both Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on the youngsters signature. To try to avoid that to happen Brendan Rodgers has given Gyamfi a chance to train with the first team and of course give the youngster a chance to prove his talent at the very highest training level. The Dutch youngster must be thrilled with this opportunity.
The fact he is still only 18 might be a clear reason to try to keep the gifted youngster as he could progress in the youth set up as much as other recruits such as Chilwell, Barnes, Choudhury and Knight have done, to mention a few.
Wes Morgan is likely to stay on for another season as his contract looks to have been renewed with yet another year, or season if you like. Wes is part of the furniture and still able to deliver when called up on, the value of having him around must never be faulted as his presence shows the younger generation how to adapt to “role” that not always gives you the chance to play week in and week out.
